Jonathan D. Linton leads Pitch-In’s Management and Implementation theme. He is the Chair in Operations and Technology Management and Director of the Emerging Technology Supply Chain Management Research Centre at the University of Sheffield.
Professor Linton is also Foreign Co-Head of the Science Technology Studies Laboratory of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and Editor-in-Chief of Technovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science, Schulich School of Business, York University and is a registered professional engineer. He also holds Bachelor degrees in Engineering Science (Materials) and Science (Biology) from Western University in London Canada. Professor Linton’s research focuses on emerging technology supply chains. He is also well known for his activities in Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy, and emerging technology and sustainable supply chains. In addition to publishing in high impact management journals and trade publications, his interdisciplinary research has been published widely in science and technology journals such as Nature, Nature Materials, New Biotechnology, and Energy Risk. He is on the editorial boards of Foresight and STI Governance, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
